Deepen your relationships with Jesus Christ and each other.

Tuesday Evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm, through April 6th

The times they are a’changing! So goes the old saying, and I daresay that whoever came up with it wasn’t facing times like these. The kind of changes that we and the whole world is grappling with creates enormous difficulties, and my question is, “How are Christians to live in the midst of this?” All of us, Christian or not, are facing unprecedented challenges. What are we to do given that we are to live differently from the world? How do these challenges filter through our Christian experience?

Please register for the study to let us know if you will be attending in person or online through our Facebook page

You can email Sherry Sweeney before the study starts regarding your thoughts. What issues do you grapple with? Do you think it is more difficult to live out the Christian life than it used to be? What discourages/encourages you? So many people deal with anxiety and/or depression today. Do you? Has anything helped you? Are you overwhelmed with life? What does your faith really mean to you as you live life and face its problems? Above all things, I want the Bible study to be meaningful and life-changing. As I hear from people, we can address these issues as we search the Word together.

Starting on April 13th, 6:30 - 8:00 pm, for 10 weeks

To help women grieve with hope who have suffered miscarriage and loss, we are starting a support group led by Marcelle Nagel on Wednesday nights at 8pm in her home.

In addition, there is a book that is highly recommended by Anchored in Hope called "Grace Like Scarlett" by Adriel Booker. With vulnerability and tenderness, Adriel Booker shares intimate stories about her experiences with early and mid-term miscarriages to help you navigate your own grief and know you aren't alone. She tackles complex questions about faith, suffering, and God's will with sensitivity and clarity, devoid of religious clichés or pat answers. Ultimately, Adriel invites you to a wide-open place of grace, honesty, and genuine hope as you discover a redemption story unfolding in the shadows of your loss. She also includes practical resources for ways to help guide children through grief, advice on pregnancy after loss, and special sections for dads and loved ones.

Contact Marcelle if you are interested at 517.404.5778.
